Strain gage amplifier

microstrain
We developed a custom strain gage amplifier with digital interface for Radom University of Technology and Humanities, for the laboratory of biomechanics.
A compact, USB-powered device incorporates two strain gage channels with selectable full/half/quarter-bridge operation, two selectable ranges, auto-zero and auto-calibration, and with built-in precision resistors for 120/350/1000-Ohm quarter-bridges. Further, it’s equipped with an analog input (0-5V range) and one digital input with up/down counter for quadrature position or angle encoder.
We also prepared data acquisition procedures for Matlab to operate the device from PC with user’s custom applications.
